When the war in Ukraine began in February 2022, the U.S. White House administration announced it would include the AeroVironment Switchblade in it’s military aid package. This resulted in tremendous media attention surrounding this elusive kamikaze drone. With no dedicated PR lead at the time, Cindy stepped into the role to engage with media and respond to the hundreds of media inquiries with approved and carefully crafted messaging. The heightened brand attention put AeroVironment on the global stage. Many of the interviews conducted over the following year were with top tier media outlets, including: CNN, Fox News, NY Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, CBS, CNBC, and USA Today.
